Domains with a status of 'pendingDelete' are those that have been marked for deletion by the Registry and can no longer be restored. The domain will be purged and dropped from the registry database and available for registration once again.

Pending delete domains listed here will be available for registration in the coming days. By placing a backorder, you can secure a desirable pending delete domain.

Pending delete lists are populated from various sources, including directly from the Registry. We strive to ensure they are as complete as possible.

We do not exclude any domains from our pending delete list. No provider can obtain full and complete lists of pending delete domains for all ccTLD registries, but we try!

Send an email with the domain to [email protected] and if we support the ccTLD, we'll ensure you can place a backorder.

Review our Registry Request resource for further information and to suggest a ccTLD not currently featured on backorder.com.

Placing a backorder is free of charge, however you are required to agree to our 'offer to purchase' which will automatically charge your payment card should the domain be caught and you are the only user to place a backorder for that domain.

An offer to purchase is a declaration you agree to (along with our terms and conditions of registration) when placing a backorder. It details the cost of a successful backorder and your authority to automatically charge your payment card if successful.

Accounts with no previous payments can backorder up to five domains at any one time. Once successful payments have been made, the limit is removed.

You can cancel a backorder providing it is before the drop date. For domains that include a drop time, backorders must be cancelled at least 60 minutes before the scheduled drop time.

Backorders are eligible for cancellation if you see a cancel option on your backorders page.

If a payment fails on your account, and you fail to rectify it promptly, all existing backorders are cancelled.

A caught domain will go to public auction if more than one person places a backorder.

The user who placed their backorder first places the opening bid automatically.

Once an auction finishes, the winning bidder is notified and their card is automatically charged for the domain. If the payment fails and the user does not settle the transaction within 24 hours, the domain will be offered to the next highest bidder.

Payments are completed shortly after the domain is successfully registered. If the domain goes to auction, the payment is made once the auction has finished.

Payments can be completed in GBP, EUR or USD. If a currency conversion is required, it will be at the mid-market rate, with no markup. You can view these rates on the Pricing page.

Login to your account and choose Payment approvals from the navigation menu. Any pending payment approvals will appear here.

To transfer your domain to another registrar, simply initiate a transfer in with your new registrar, and provide the transfer authorisation code.

Authorisation codes can be generated on the Domains page. Choose the domain and select the 'request authorisation code' button.

Some ccTLD registries impose a 60-day transfer lock on new registrations. When you attempt to obtain a transfer authorisation code, you will be advised as to the reason a domain cannot be transferred.

Yes, you can change the nameservers from within your account on the Domains page.

Registration emails can take up to 24 hours to be sent. This is due to manual checks being needed on some registrations.

If you still haven't received the email, check you aren't using a disposable email addresses, unregistered domain or a domain with no MX records.
